Then 8TV starts to air a new TV Series - Flash Forward... Now I'm hooked.
At times I swear, Flash Forward is too much for me!
The story revolves around FBI Agent, Mark Benford uncovering deep plots of conspiracy when one day EVERYBODY in the whole world pitam-ed for 2 minutes and 17seconds. During the time they were unconscious, most people saw flashes of their future. There were some who did not see a thing; they're called Ghost as they have no future, meaning they are going to die.
Pilot episode shows Agent Benford and Agent Noh in a car chase on hot pursuit of a suspect. Suddenly, just blackness and time stood still. Cars crash into one another, helicopters crashing into buildings, cars going off road into rivers, people drowning. Utter Chaos.
Our Agents wakes up in pins and needles, not a clue what happened as they stare at the massive catalyst , cars piled in heaps, bodies strewn everywhere, buildings on fire etc. The FBI Team is left to piece together what caused the Black Out, hunt down who is REsponsible, which they initially thought was a Terrorist Attack but appears to be more complicated than that!
Then comes a mysterious, cute and charming Englishman with he's Autistic son warded in the same hospital where Agent Benford's wife works as a surgeon. In their Flash Forward, they see each other; having an affair! The more I watch the more I see the resemblance, shit this guy looks like boyfriend!
Those of you who met my bf before, do you see what I see ?? :-P
Point is, the fascinating thing about the Storyline is, everyone seen bits of their future. Some people at the end of their rope saw good things happening, Hope. While some saw bad things happening.
So, IF you had a glimpse of your future, and if it's going to be tragic, what would you do about it ? Sit around waiting for it to happen or change the future knowing you still have time?

Then on Sunday afternoon, there's BOSS ; Jap CSI-TV Series equivalent. Hell, it's addictive! The first episode blew me away. Instantly I became a fan of Amami Yuki, she's one solid character. Her character Eriko Osawa is an FBI in the States then she is called back to Tokyo to head the new Unit.
I was totally fascinated by her entire Iron Lady mannerism, spunk and I love, love, love her crisp, stylo suits!
To make it even more hilarious, her newly formed Unit consist of all the Oddball/Misfits kicked out from the other Departments! My favourite pair is the gay Zenji Iwai and gentle, Flower loving Uncle Yamamura, both love winding each other up most the time! Both are sooo un-Police like Gay Iwai screams and panics with he's gun at crucial moments while Uncle Yamamura always loses he's bag and frets over the smallest things! Classic!
When I'm freaking 40, I wanna look like AMAMI YUKI !!!

Arrgghh I can't take the Suspense! It's too much for my poor heart :( Once a week is killing me!
And I shall not tempt myself into buying the Box-Sets !!!!

Haiyo, if I were to sit down and start watching exciting stuff like this, everything would come to a standstill -- housework not completed, work brought home would not be done, etc.
The guy in the pictures looks like Glyn? Hmmmm.... okay, will train my eyes to see the resemblance.
Ha Haa!! If you squint a bit and look hard, it does look like Glyn !! :D :) He's going to kill me when he sees this ...
Tellys are wicked aren't they, especially for person like me with plenty of free time in my hands! The TV's been my faithful companion , plus the dogs to fill my oh-so-lonely nights !! :P
